Working together in Informer
Confident about your books.Confident about your bookkeeper.
Dutch Tax House is an Informer Certified Adviser. That means you and your bookkeeper work in the same set of books, in one system. You send in your invoices — the rest is taken care of.
One set of books, two people
No exports, no email threads full of receipts, no version only your bookkeeper gets to see. You invoice and scan, Dutch Tax House processes and keeps an eye on things — in the same file, at the same time.
- Receipts · scan with the app
- Bank feed · real time
- Invoices · sales and purchase
- VAT return · every quarter
Questions are raised as queries inside the software itself.
How the collaboration works
Your part is kept small.
Dutch Tax House prefers one way of working: you supply the paperwork, the bookkeeping is managed for you.
You create the sales invoices
In Informer, or in your own invoicing software. Using something else? Forward the invoices to Informer and they land in the books automatically.
You forward the purchase invoices
Forwarding them to your Informer address is enough. Receipts you scan with the app: take a photo and you are done.
The rest sits with Dutch Tax House
Processing, recording, reconciling, the VAT return and advice. You never have to make an entry or keep track of anything.
In practice that takes you a few minutes a week. The rest of your bookkeeping runs on without you having to do anything.
Why this arrangement? Entries that are right all year round produce a VAT return that is right and a set of annual figures without surprises. Correcting mistakes afterwards costs more time — and therefore more money — than doing the work properly the first time.
Doing your own bookkeeping is possible too, and for some entrepreneurs it works fine. Both arrangements are set out side by side below.
What it gives you
Five things you notice straight away
Working with a Certified Adviser mainly saves you time, hassle and unpleasant surprises.
No more loose receipts
Take a photo with your phone and you are done. The app recognises the amount and the shop automatically. No shoebox, no receipts gone missing.
Current figures, always
The bank feeds itself into your books. At any moment you can see where you stand, and Dutch Tax House sees the same picture. No exports, no email threads.
Questions asked inside the software
Unsure about an entry or an invoice? The question is attached to that entry as a query. No separate emails or WhatsApp messages, and it is immediately clear what it concerns.
Adjust in time instead of waiting
Your books are watched all year round. If something stands out, you hear about it while there is still something to be done about it.
One system, no loose connections
Receipts, invoices, bank and VAT in one place, for you and your bookkeeper. No duplicated work, no stray files, no inbox full of receipts.
The two arrangements
Who does what?
There are roughly two ways a Certified Adviser works with you. The first is the one Dutch Tax House recommends.

Recommended · Managed bookkeeping
Dutch Tax House handles it. You run your business.
For entrepreneurs who would rather spend their time on their business than on bookkeeping, and who want certainty that it is right all year round.
Alternative · Review and advice
You keep the books. Dutch Tax House reviews them.
For entrepreneurs with small, straightforward books who want to do the entries themselves and have the time for it.
Not sure which one fits? Raise it in a no-obligation call. Switching later is always possible, because it stays the same set of books.

The questions that usually come first
Informer
The first step
A look at your bookkeeping first
Every set of books is different. So it starts with a no-obligation conversation: how your business works, how many invoices there are and what is already in place. A tailored proposal follows from there.
Would you rather look around Informer yourself first?
That is easy to do and commits you to nothing. These three routes are separate.
