Cookie policy
Last updated: 9 September 2026
This website uses cookies and similar techniques to work properly and, with your consent, to analyse how the site is used and to measure the results of advertising.
This is a translation of the Dutch text for your convenience. In case of any difference, the Dutch version prevails.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit the website.
Which cookies does this site use?
- Strictly necessary cookies — needed for the website to work, for example to remember your language preference (NL/EN/ES). These require no consent.
- Preference cookies — remember your earlier choice in the cookie banner so that it does not keep reappearing.
- Analytics cookies — help make sense of how visitors use the website so it can be improved. Google Analytics 4 is used for this. These cookies are only placed after you click “Accept all” in the cookie banner. If you choose “Necessary only” or make no choice, no cookies are placed and you are not recognised; the measurement script is loaded but sends only a cookieless, aggregated signal to Google (Consent Mode). IP addresses are processed in truncated form.
- Advertising cookies — Dutch Tax House advertises through Google Ads. These cookies make it possible to measure which advert led to a callback request or enquiry, and to limit the reach of the adverts to people for whom they are relevant. They too are only placed after “Accept all”. If you choose “Necessary only” they are not placed and Google's advertising signals stay set to “denied”.
Who processes this data?
The analytics and advertising cookies are placed by Google, which acts as an independent party for its own purposes. In Google Analytics and Google Ads, Dutch Tax House only sees aggregated reporting: visitor numbers, pages used and the number of enquiries per campaign. No advertising profiles are built within its own records, and cookie data is not linked to your client file.
Consent and changing your preferences
On your first visit the cookie banner asks for consent for non-essential cookies. You can withdraw or change that consent at any time through the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page: this clears your earlier choice and brings the banner back. You can also delete stored cookies and block future ones through your browser settings.
